The 20th Annual Diabetes Wellness Expo hosted by the Delaware Diabetes Coalition is set for Tuesday, May 10 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Delaware State Fairgrounds (18500 S. Dupont Hwy) in Harrington, DE. This event is free for the public to attend and a $10 food truck lunch voucher is provided on a first come, first serve basis.
The Expo brings together healthcare providers, businesses, diabetes-related organizations, and others to promote diabetes self-management and a healthier lifestyle for people with diabetes. With 40+ exhibitors and health screeners, plus an educationally packed program presented by health leaders in our community, attendees will be well-equipped to better manage their diabetes.
Highlights of the day will include free COVID-19 vaccines provided by Camden Pharmacy; a keynote presentation from Insurance Commissioner Trinidad Navarro; raffle giveaways; and a Dining with Diabetes Cooking Demonstration. Lt. Governor Bethany Hall Long will also present on Diabetes in Delaware and a 20th Anniversary celebration will take place during lunch.
